Onota Lake and Burbank Park

Onota Lake and Burbank Park

Our lake is 617 acres, about 6 km around. A single hugging the shore could spend a lovely hour circumnavigating it, while a crew boat racing up and down has a straight shot of around 3 km. This is likely why Williams College also uses this as their rowing lake, even hosting invitational sprints in the spring.

Burbank Park is owned and operated by the city of Pittsfield, features a public beach and bathhouse, terrific fishing, and views you have to see to believe.

When rowing, one must beware the Loch Onota Monster at the south end.
